Vitabiotics Pregnacare Max nutritional supplement offers maximum nutritional support to pregnant women with multivitamin tablets and omega-3 capsules.
Pregnacare Max tablets contain nutrients such as vitamins, calcium, trace elements and 400μg of folic acid, of which 200μg are in its immediately bioavailable form (L-methyl folate). Folic acid plays a role in the process of cell division and contributes to the development of maternal tissue during pregnancy. With the daily supplement of 400μg of folic acid one month before and up to three months after conception, its levels increase in the pregnant woman. Low levels of folic acid are a risk factor for damage to the neural tube of the developing fetus. Calcium and vitamin D help maintain the normal condition of the tooth bones and vitamins and minerals provide nutritional support.
Pregnacare Max capsules provide 600mg of fish oil, which is a rich source of omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. A single capsule delivers 60mg EPA and the ideal amount of 300mg DHA. Maternal DHA intake contributes to the normal development of the fetus's brain & eyes.1 Pregnacare Max fish oil is of high purity and is produced to GMP quality standards.
Positive results are obtained with a daily intake of 200mg DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega 3 fatty acids for adults which is 250mg DHA and EPA.
