Solgar Quercetin Complex is a combination of quercetin with vitamin C (manufactured according to Solgar's Ester-C ® Plus patent) and is highly effective in managing allergy symptoms.
It is useful in cases of allergies as it helps to treat symptoms such as runny nose and sneezing from allergic rhinitis. In addition, it contributes to the inhibition of histamine production and provides antioxidant activity.
In particular, quercetin is a high-potency non-citrate bioflavonoid, found in high quantities in apples and onions, and its properties make it a perfect natural anti-inflammatory that inhibits bruising. It is considered the queen of bioflavonoids.
Solgar Quercetin Complex also contains bromelain, rose hips, acerola and citrate bioflavonoids that enhance the anti-inflammatory and antihistamine action of quercetin. Ester-C ® provides a patented form of vitamin C with a neutral pH that does not irritate the stomach.
