The metabolites help the vitamin to enter the bloodstream faster, in larger quantities and with less loss, resulting in Solgar's Ester-C® being absorbed about four times as much, activated twice as fast and remaining in the circulation twice as much at relation to normal vitamin C.
In addition, Ester-C® metabolites help the vitamin to penetrate white blood cells more efficiently. White blood cells are known to require high levels of vitamin C for their metabolism.
