Properties: Excellent tonic - detoxifier of the liver. Many of its properties are due to the powerful antioxidant silymarin. Protects against damage to the liver caused by viruses, free radicals and various toxins (pollutants, drugs, alcohol, etc.). It stimulates the synthesis of proteins, thus stimulating the regeneration of liver cells (in contrast, it does not stimulate the reproduction of cancer liver cells!).
Increases the production of glutathione, prevents the deposition of fat in the liver (fatty liver), is effective in acute and chronic viral hepatitis, reduces liver enzymes, protects against mild and severe (cirrhosis) liver damage caused by alcohol.
