Lactase (lactase) is an essential digestive enzyme for the breakdown of the main carbohydrate in Lactose milk (lactose). Lactase is produced by the body in the small intestine. In cases of reduced or zero lactase production from the small intestine, the undigested lactose is led to the large intestine where it is fermented. This leads to the production of hydrogen, carbon dioxide and organic acids resulting in the production of gas, contraction of the muscles of the intestinal wall and the induction of diarrhea. The severity of clinical manifestations depends on the degree of enzyme deficiency.
Lactose intolerance is not life threatening, but it does lead to quality problems, as avoiding dairy products can lead to dietary restrictions. The potency of enzyme activity is measured in units of the Food Chemical Codex (FCC). The Food Chemical Codex is the universally valid standard for determining the activity of plant enzymes. This standard describes the potency of enzyme activity in units (iu), better than the other widely used standard, which uses the weight of enzymes to determine enzyme activity (measured in mg). This product is of high power and can only be compared with similar products of other manufacturers, which include as a measurement of enzyme activity units (iu) and not weight (mg).

Suitable for vegetarians.
Assimilation time: Less than 30 minutes.
Dosage: 1 tablet before a dairy meal (lactose). The Lamberts Science Division provides an information leaflet on the amount of lactose contained in different foods. This product can be used to reduce the symptoms of lactose intolerance for a long time.
Do not exceed 3 tablets per day.
