The HARTMANN GROUP was born in 1818, when pioneering entrepreneur Ludwig von Hartmann acquired the Meebold spinning mills. A few years later his son, the visionary Paul Hartmann Sr., founded the Paul Hartmann Bleaching, Dyeing and Dressing Company, a dressing plant that revolutionized wound care. The company's founding fathers weren't just industry pioneers. They worked with passion, optimism and dedication for the promotion and improvement of health, and it is these same virtues that permeate the work of the company to this day.
